Engagement objective: improve a cyber resilience self-assessment service.
Engagement objective
We are working with MHCLG's Local Digital team to design and prototype a safer, clearer way for organisations to complete cyber resilience self-assessments. The work moves a workbook-led process into a structured digital journey that helps teams coordinate contributors, record judgements consistently, and link decisions to evidence without turning assessment into a box-ticking exercise.
What we set out to do
- Make it easier to move from guidance to an evidence-backed judgement for each outcome.
- Reduce duplication and manual admin through clearer stages, ownership, and progress tracking.
- Support repeatable assessment cycles so organisations can track progress over time.
What the work produced
- Engagement is currently in progress in Alpha.
- Prototypes and delivery artefacts are being iterated with stakeholders.
- Further implementation outcomes will be shared at an appropriate milestone.
